West toadies is a community based club founded by members of building workers unions in 1973. We offer a full range of club services and activities Bars and lounges. Once you have completed the form it can be mailed or faxed to the club. The club was established for building tradesmen and their families through the urge of unions in the building industry. Obvious originally as the Building Workers Club it grew very quickly and often had a waiting list of people keen to join. It was certainly a testament to the need for a community club in the Mt Pruitt area. The club has everlasting had a strong community spirit and a focus on assisting local people. The development of the club itself became a way to assist the community with a barbecue area project providing labor for nine unemployed Mt Pruitt residents, helping them get back into lasting employment. It is an crucial venue for the wider community with a commitment to helping local schools, sporting clubs and community services where it can, and to providing excellent leisure facilities and entertainment for the people of the area.

But our name is not the only thing that has changed. West toadies has three splendid options for holidays for our members. There is an abundance of activities in and around the area, safe to suit everyone's interests. There is a life saving club at the surf beach. Other activities available include lawn bowls, golf and swimming in sheltered waters. Sussex Inlet is popular for water sports, being on the trivial river which connects the St George Basin with the ocean. There are considerable boats hire businesses with insignificant motor boats for hire plus houseboat hire. It’s the flawless getaway where you can enjoy the fishing, beach swimming, golf, tennis, squash, croquet and bush walking or tour the local area. West toadies has entertainment every Friday, Saturday and Sunday plus routine promotions every week with opportunities to prevail shopping vouchers, cash and a fantastic range of seafood and meat trays. Our supple function spaces can be adapted for many events and celebrations: Birthday parties, Anniversary dinners, Christenings, graduations, school formals, wakes and little or important business events. It has a stage and is fully self contained with its own facilities and outdoor area. We present ONE low price to both members and visitors on all food and beverage purchases (excluding special offers). Points can be impaired to buy food and beverages in the club or on items in our extensive Showcase. Seeks to ensure that no impair comes to patrons as a result of our service of alcohol. If the service is refused, our staff will politely explain to the patron(s) that the premises cannot legally serve alcohol to the point of intoxication. If a staff member believes that a patron who is ordering or being supplied alcohol is under 18 years of age, they will politely request good identification of proof of age (passport, photo proof of age card or photo drivers license). The Supervisor will clarify to those patrons suspected of being younger than 18 years, that licensed premises are legally needed to refuse service to patrons who have no good proof of age identification. If the patrons are less than 18 years of age, or shrivel to provide identification, the Supervisor will politely veto service of alcohol and question the patron to depart the premises. In seeking to deal with a disruptive, turbulent or intoxicated patron, staff should take uppermost precautions to ensure that they (the staff) come to no harm. Management will not deposit other staff in positions where they might arrive to harm as a result of dealing with a violent, disruptive or intoxicated person. Patrons' Safety Staff members will seek to advise and foster patrons to monitor and medium their consumption if it is obvious by our staff that a patron intends to drive from the premises. Staff will aid in any way feasible to bear alternative services for patrons who may have consumed excessive alcohol. The Board and Management seek the promote of all members to promote this policy and ensure that the club maintains its responsible position to its members and the local community.
