Five Senses has been providing onetoone tuition to students for nearly 40 years. We believe that there is no substitute for onetoone tuition because lessons can be tailored to the individual needs of our students and because learning is enhanced in a nonthreatening and caring environment. We cater for all levels of students who are struggling to those who are at the top of their year and want to excel even further. We select our teachers and tutors on the basis of their experience and expertise and their skill to relate well to students. Five Senses offers onetoone lessons in maximum school subjects and at all levels from Kindergarten to HS. It is normal for primary age children to be assessed before to commencing lessons. The children are taught in little groups of three to six children, assisting them to develop the skills necessary for a definite and thriving start to school. Our program includes a wide variety of activities concentrating on the following areas of development: Language listening and communication skills including comprehension and succeeding instructions. Social cooperative behavior (turn taking and sharing) including the definite interaction with their peers. Ore literacy and numeracy letters, sounds, rereading, numbers, shapes and measurements. We provide Preschoolers with a structured learning environment where their individual needs are supported and they are encouraged to be effective class members, busy independently and confidently. Our suited teachers have extensive experience in school readiness and are able to provide feedback to you on you child’s progress and readiness for school. This valuable input will help you when making the decision about when to start your kid at school. Classes are 45 minutes in duration and cost 20.00 per week.
