CBS Water (CBS) is an Australian owned engineering and technology company specializing in the design, manufacture, installation, operation and maintenance of turnkey water and waste water treatment plants. We have grown and now changed to CBS Water Pt Ltd. For over 25 years CBS has provided fully engineered, packaged water and waste water treatment plants and has been at the forefront of introducing and successfully implementing geotextile dewatering containers to the Australian market. Our goal is to remain to innovate and exaggerate our corporate capabilities to treat ALL water containing streams, utilizing both proven and innovative technologies. CBS has successfully delivered package and lasting water treatment plants to clients around the world, producing tall quality treated water for a range of applications. CBS can bear engineered solutions to clients that exceed legislative release and reuse requirements. Our sister company Dredging Solutions (aw.dredging solutions.com.au) provides a complete turnkey solution to sludge management dredge, debater, dispose, using Envitube containers or containerized centrifuges to deliver tall efficiency sludge recovery and dewatering, scoped to site and client requirements. The scope for the packaged water treatment plant included the equipment design and supply, delivery to site, installation and commissioning. CBS provided the packaged aeration tower along with a treated water pH probes for process handle and automation purposes. CBS was also involved with installation, commissioning and operator training onside. This plant is fully automated and will require minimal operator attendance. It is a fully automatic system that incorporates a BSD controlled feed pump flow, pressure and water analysis transmitters automated CAP system and air compressor. The plant was designed as a containerized system with all equipment required to comply with closed-minded treated effluent requirements, incorporating biological nutrient removal and Siemens B40N submerged membrane technology. This project involved a meaningful amount of site works including surveying, demolitions, earthworks, concreting, mechanical and electrical installation all below CBS’s constant site supervision to Thiess’s strict safety management systems. The contract also included the supply of balance tanks, treated water storage and disinfection, aerobic digested and a containerized centrifuge dewatering system. This project utilizes the Extended Aeration Activated Sludge method of biological sewage treatment incorporating primary sedimentation tank, aeration tank and lesser clarified. Disinfection is undertaken using liquid chlorine dosing with an OR controller earlier to discharge. This Sewage Treatment Plant (ATP) was designed to treat effluent from a construction camp to a quality suitable for irrigation. This Sewage Treatment Plant (ATP) was designed to treat effluent from a caravan park to a quality suitable for irrigation. Particle filtration technologies have been old extensively by CBS in our water treatment plants as unit processes to assist accomplish client specifications, as well as meeting regulatory standards set out by local authorities. Chlorine, chlorine dioxide and hypochlorite: Produces hypochlorous acid in water which disintegrates cell membrane surface lipids and react with enzymes essential for cellular function. CBS can design, manufacture, install and commission whole BR plants optimized for the specific incoming feed quality and bear effluent suitable for reuse applications or environmental discharge. These solids and organisms produced become incorporated in the aeration tank as activated sludge. The mixed liquor containing water and the sludge mass is sent to a clarified or settling tank, where the waste water is separated from the solids which are then recycled to maintain the population of microorganisms within the system. The first phase, aeration, involves quick surface mixing to mix the in fluent with the activated sludge. Behind settling, the supernatant is removed and can be impaired for irrigation or discharge. CBS can produce fully designed and manufactured abbr systems for sewage and waste water treatment or standalone bio film carriers to serve as upgrades to existing plants. CBS Water treatment plants join well established conventional treatment processes with the latest advances in technology to yield lofty quality water, exceeding client and regulatory standards. Our sewage treatment plants are robust and effective at removing nutrients, eliminating pathogens and separating solids to provide a treated effluent that can be safely reused or discharged to the environment.
